Tampa Bay sends: SP Casey Fossum CF Brady Clark 3B Sean Burroughs SP Chris Mason 1B Wes Bankston
Chicago(NL) sends: SP Sean Marshall SS Miguel Tejada
I get a cheaper, but dulled down version of Fossum, and in return for some decent MLB'ers and decent prospects I get a huge bat.

OK I don't know if I'm just being a dick or Cubs doesn't know what he's doing. And I'm in a good mood, so I doubt it's me being a dick. Quality for Quantity? I just don't understand it... I looked at this hard and wanted to approve it after vetoing the Prior deal but damn I just don't see how he could trade Tejada and get nothing in return... Someone throw me a bone here?

Fossum - 28, nothing special about him. Big contract for his rating.. but that's not a positive. Clark - Age is getting up there. Somewhat expensive, but I still think he can be a .270-.290 hitter and get his 20-25 stolen bases for 2-3 more years. Burroughs - USELESS. Alright contact, won't K a whole lot.. but overpaid again... he's crap. Mason - Eh, mid-level prospect. Nothing special.. could be a back of the rotation man sometime down the road. Bankston - Kibbie talked about how happy he was to get rid of Prior because he is injury prone... well so is Bankston and he's the best player he's getting in this deal. Could be a pretty good player, although he has NOTHING but power.
Marshall - Nothing special about him. Tejada - Flat out stallion. Contact, gap, power, base stealing.. he can do it all.
I'm going to have to decline. Texas has a great point with the quantity for quality thing. Chicago is getting some mid-level prospect or else shit players, and he's giving a mid-level prospect and a MVP candidate.

I'm sorry, but i'm going to have to veto this trade for the same reasons as the Prior trade. Chicago would really have been hurt by this deal. If Chicago can give me some good reasons for giving up Tejada/Prior for almost nothing, i might change my mind in either trade. But for now my answer is no
