New York (A) Sends:
SP Mike Mussina MR Jon Rauch 3B Eric Duncan SP Jared Hughes C Kelly Stinnett 2B Robinson Cano
Oakland Sends:
SP Rich Harden C Jason Kendall 3B Eric Chavez 1B Dan Johnson 1B Bobby Kielty
In this deal, yes I lose Harden. But, I get good things in return. Stinnett is a fairly good replacement for Kendall and I'm getting Dave Ross from Cinci, so I'll have a catcher by committee type organization. I acquire Moose, who even at his age is having a good year and he and Zito will be solid. I get Cano, Hughes, and Duncan---->All good spects and Rauch who will be a good future reliever. Yes, I lose Harden, but other than him, I lose a lot of contracts. I get younger, maintain a solid team, and lose money.

I cry a little about losing cano and moose but in return i get a young solid starter who will surpass moose and i have graffiano to cover second i also add chavez and johnsons amazing bats. btw this puts oak below the 70k cap and i stay undermine

Rauch is 27, so i dont see him developing into very much of anything, but as long as the trade keeps both teams under budget, its good enough for me
